Terms of Service

The deal, in plain language.

Last updated September 26, 2026 · QuietName is operated by ARBEZ, Inc.

1. What we do

QuietName discovers what publicly available sources say about you, tells you what we found, and - in paid tiers - submits removal requests to data brokers on your behalf and re-checks quarterly. We reduce your exposure. We do not promise to remove you from the internet: brokers control their own databases, re-add data after removal, and deletion timelines vary. We promise to work the problem, document what we did, and show you the evidence.

2. Who may use the service

You must be 18 or older and be the subject of the investigation, or a documented authorized representative (e.g., a parent for a minor child in a household plan). By submitting a scan or purchasing a plan, you confirm you meet these requirements and consent to being investigated. QuietName is not a consumer-reporting agency; reports may not be used for employment, tenancy, credit, or any decision about a third party (FCRA).

3. Pricing, billing, cancellation

The exposure scan is free. Paid plans are charged as shown at checkout. Monthly retainers ($29/mo) can be cancelled any time and stop at the end of the paid period. Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee - if we have not delivered the work described, you get your money back.

4. Founding-client pilot

Current pricing is a founding-client pilot. Features, delivery times (such as the 48-hour scan report), and plan scope describe our targets during this phase; if we cannot meet a commitment, we will tell you honestly and make it right.

5. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information about yourself (wrong inputs produce wrong scans), do not use the service to investigate anyone who has not consented, and keep your account credentials to yourself.

6. Liability

We perform our services with reasonable care but cannot control third-party websites, their records, or their opt-out processes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced to active clients by email. Questions or disputes: use the contact page - a human reads it.
